Tulsa Boat Sport &
Travel Show
Once again Windycrest will have a booth at the boat show. The show
kicks off on January 30th and runs through February 5th. Many Club
members volunteer their time to man the booth. It is a lot of fun
plus you get to go to the boat show at no charge! If you are interested in
participating you will need to contact Steve Snider at
918-242-3192. Call soon as the spaces fill up fast.
2012 Dues
Your 2012 Windycrest dues have mailed, you should have them by now.
Payment is due February 1, 2012. Please get them back to the Club
before February 15th deadline to avoid late payment fees.
January Windword
Check
out the latest edition right here on-line. In this issue is an article about
hypothermia. Solve the Windycrest crossword puzzle that
our editor created. Plus read Chris Gill's Connecticut connection.
Windword Changes
The
December Windword
is now available on-line. Beginning in February, the Windword will be available only a digital format that will be e-mailed
to all
members. Many members are quite happy receiving the electronic version. It saves the Club a
bunch of money in postage and printing.
If you prefer the printed version, you will need to
request that the Windword be mailed to you when filling out your annual membership renewal.
There is an additional fee for receiving the paper version.

FROSTBITE!
The GTMYC invites you to
sail.
If anyone wants to try our RC sailing we
have an extra boat
that can be borrowed.
We meet at 2pm Sundays at
the pond
behind TTC's Southeast
Campus at
81st and Hwy 169. If the temp is cooler than 40 or
the wind is over 20 racing is cancelled.
