Windycrest Sailing Club was founded in 1965 as a non-profit organization devoted
to encouraging the pursuit of sailing as a recreational activity and as a
competitive sport. We are located on the Arkansas arm of Lake Keystone in the
Osage hills west of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Read more here.

Entry Fees and
Costs:
$22.00 per boat; $5.00 for crew. $10.00 CSSA annual membership
required for skippers and will be available at registration. Junior
sailors (17 and under) sail for free. $2.00 discount for US SAILING
members; must show card. Saturday dinners are $8.00 each and can be
purchased at registration.
Food & Drink:
Free continental breakfast Saturday & Sunday morning. Free
refreshments after race. Buy Sat. dinner. |
Classes:
All boats welcome. Four boats in the same class make a fleet. All
others sail in an appropriate handicap fleet.
Safety:
Standard safety equipment required including throwables and signaling
device (16ft+ boats).
Lake patrol requires skippers to carry photo ID.
Trophies: 4 boats in a fleet = 1 trophy;
8 boats = 2 trophies; 12 boats = 3 trophies;
16 boats = 4 trophies. 1st place crew and other special
awards. |

Training Swim Tests held on

Steve writes: The
training staff is pleased that so many took advantage of the
opportunity to complete the swim test obligation portion of being in a
training program at WSC. Those that could not find time in their
schedules can always take the test on the day of their first class. If
there is sufficient interest and agreement upon a make-up time,
another in-pool swim test may be considered. For those wanting an
in-pool make-up, please register your time preferences with the
Rear Commodore as soon as
possible for efficient coordination. |

Club events, dependents of members need to be accompanied by a parent
or other responsible adult after 8pm unless prior arrangements have
been made by the parents with a member of the Board of Governors or
the Facilities Manager. |
